Chief Deputy Chad Enright began his career with Dodge County Sheriff’s Office in 2002, and has over 20 years of Dodge County law enforcement experience. He served as a corrections officer from 2002-2006, Patrol Deputy 2006-2011, K9 handler 2011-2015, and Patrol Lieutenant 2013-2018. While serving in these positions he gained experience from 4 years as a K9 handler, 5 years on the Swat Team, and 5 years supervising the 3rd shift patrol group. He also managed the agency fleet, equipment, and county fair security plan. In 2018 he was promoted to Operations Captain, responsible for the Patrol Division, Criminal Investigation Division/Drug Task Force, Communications Division, Crash Investigation Team, and SWAT TEAM among numerous other agency operations.

Chief Deputy Enright is a Certified Public Manager and a graduate of the UW Madison Wisconsin Command College program, a graduate of the Fox Valley Technical College Police Academy and is currently completing a law enforcement associates degree program at Moraine Park Technical College in Beaver Dam. He is a graduate of the Leadership in Police Organizations program and has extensive additional training in the areas of leadership, management, investigations, corrections and public records.  He is a 1997 graduate of Horicon High School.

Additional law enforcement experience includes 3 years of service as part time Chief of Police for the Village of Clyman Police Department.
