Interested in Working for Dodge County Parks?

Dodge County Parks is seeking individuals who may be interested in becoming a candidate to fill seasonal (April-Oct) attendant, caretaker and volunteer camp host positions if/when they become vacant. Dodge County operates five parks and numerous miles of recreational trails located at various vantage points throughout the County. Dodge County Parks & Trails provides camping, hiking, canoeing/kayaking and many other outdoor recreational activities.  For more information about Dodge County Parks & Trails you can visit our website at www.dodgeparks.com.   

Camp Host:  Volunteer camper who resides in County Park for a contracted period of time during the camping season.  The Host provides hospitality and information to other campers and park visitors and supplements staff coverage and maintenance of the Park, in exchange for a free campsite and firewood. Preferred term of service shall run a minimum of 8 weeks, shorter terms and work hours may be considered as necessary.    

Individuals who are interested in being placed on a waiting list for future consideration in a seasonal or volunteer position should submit a letter of interest or resume indicating the position of interest, background information including any past or current work in parks/recreation or similar positions, preferred park/location, and schedule availability.
