Permits are required for any utility maintenance and/or installation work, grading, drainage modifications, and culvert/manure pipe installation within County highway right-of-way.

The utility permit application fee is due with the application (see Dodge County Utility Policy for fee amount).  Credit Cards are now accepted by phone. There is a 2.65% fee.

Permits are required for new driveway installations or removals, driveway use change, modifications to existing driveways including paving driveways, temporary driveways, and drain tile installations in highway right-of-way.

Highway access applications are not available online.  The property owner must meet with Highway Department personnel to review the request on site at which time the application will be completed.  Please call us at 920-386-3650 to discuss this.  If paying by check, the fee is due at the time the application is completed.   Credit cards are accepted by phone only; they cannot be taken on site.  There is a 2.65% fee or $3.00 minimum.

The Dodge County Moving Permit is for moving any oversize/overweight item on Dodge County roads (i.e., CTH A, CTH B, etc.)

The Moving Permit fee is $35.00 and is due with permit request.  Credit card payments are accepted by phone.  There is a $3.00 fee.

For Moving Permits only - if paying by check, the application and a copy of the check may be faxed to 920-386-3525 or emailed.  The check must be received by the Highway Department within one week of receiving the application.
