What is a Land Use Permit? 

You are about to begin an application for a project. The project will be reviewed by the Dodge County Land Resources and Parks staff based on the site diagram and information provided. During the application process, you will be given an opportunity to draw the project location(s) on a map of your property. However, exact measurements from nearby landmarks and other supporting documents like site plans and surveys are helpful. You will receive email notifications at various points throughout the application process from noreply@schneidergis.com

Steps in the Application Process:

  1. Locate your parcel(s)
  2. Choose the parcel or parcels of the project location
  3. Create an account on GeoPermits with your contact information
  4. Enter information about the project
  5. Draw a sketch on a map of the project location(s)
  6. Submit application with payment ($50 + $2 per $1,000 construction = Example:  $200,000 project / Fee: $50 + $400 = $450)
